Measure length and width

Measure your dog while sleeping in their preferred posture. Record both the stretched length and the widest curled position. Add practical room for turning and repositioning.

Check supported load separately

Surface dimensions and weight capacity answer different questions. A sofa may be physically wide enough but still lack a verified supported load for a particular dog. Check entry height and side structure
