Dual Monitor Arm Gift Guide: Compatibility Before You Buy

A dual monitor arm can be a useful home-office or gaming gift, but only when it matches the recipient’s monitors and desk. Compatibility matters more than surprise.

Check screen size

The current Viva Elite arm is listed for 13–32-inch screens. Confirm both displays fall in that range, then continue to VESA and weight checks.

Check the VESA mounts

Look for mounting holes on the back of each monitor and compare them with the exact arm documentation. Screen size alone does not guarantee mount compatibility.

Verify monitor weight

The current Viva product record does not provide a sufficiently verified per-arm supported-weight limit. Confirm the manual/package limit before buying for a specific pair of monitors.

Check the desk

The arm includes C-clamp and grommet mounting options, but the desk still needs suitable material, thickness and structure. Glass, hollow-core and unusually shaped desk edges deserve extra scrutiny.
