The idea is simple, but the details vary more than the product name suggests: one model may list exact temperature levels, another may only list three settings, and the power bank may be included, optional, or not included at all.

What actually varies between heated scarves?

By contrast, Viva's USB Heated Outdoor Scarf currently documents three heat settings but does not provide exact temperatures in the live Product Truth. That difference matters: do not transfer temperature figures from one scarf to another simply because both use three settings.
Power banks: included, optional and required are different
A USB heated scarf needs a compatible power source while the heating feature is in use. Check the exact package before assuming the battery is included.
The Soft Artificial-Wool USB Heated Scarf and the USB Heated Outdoor Scarf both require a compatible USB power source and do not include a power bank in their current listings. The USB Heated Scarf with Optional Power Bank is different: Viva currently offers a scarf-only configuration and a configuration bundled with a power bank.
Runtime is not a universal scarf specification. It depends on the power source, heat level and exact product setup, and Viva does not publish an invented runtime when the current product record does not verify one.
Heating-zone size matters more than a vague “heated” label
The heating panel is usually much smaller than the full scarf. Compare the documented zone with where you want warmth to sit.
The current Soft Artificial-Wool USB Heated Scarf lists a heating panel of approximately 23 × 6 cm. The USB Heated Outdoor Scarf lists a heating panel of approximately 24 × 7 cm / 9.45 × 2.76 in.. Those figures describe the heated area, not the full scarf dimensions.
Scarf dimensions and weight affect how it wears
A long scarf can be wrapped or draped differently from a compact neck warmer. The Soft Artificial-Wool model is listed at approximately 30 × 200 × 0.5 cm and about 220 g. The USB Heated Outdoor Scarf is presented as a full-length scarf and has a listed package weight of about 14.3 oz / 404 g. The optional-power-bank scarf lists the scarf itself at approximately 4.9 oz / 140 g, with a listed bundled weight of about 7.8 oz / 220 g.
Use exact dimensions and current variant details rather than assuming every heated neck product has the same drape or bulk.
Check the power-bank pocket
A wearable heating product is easier to use when the power connection and battery can be positioned without pulling on the cable. The Soft Artificial-Wool model lists a zipped pocket at approximately 11 × 9 cm. The USB Heated Outdoor Scarf lists a power pocket at approximately 13 × 11 cm / 5.12 × 4.33 in..

Material and color are still part of the buying decision
Heating technology should not make you ignore the fabric. The Soft Artificial-Wool model lists an artificial-wool/polyester construction and current colors Brown, Khaki, Grey, Pink and Black. The optional-power-bank scarf currently lists Gray and Pink configurations.
